SPONSORSHIP
Sponsorship is a primary way to get involved in the lives of children
through Partners of Hope International. We offer a variety of sponsorship
opportunities tailored to all levels of giving and areas of need.
Your generosity allows us to bear witness to lives being transformed
and is the heartbeat of our mission. Each person changed reminds
us of our calling to look after orphans and widows in their distress
(James 1:27). Join us as we experience the unparalleled joy of impacting
the lives of tomorrow, the lives of children.
• Sponsor a Child
You are needed in the life of a child.
$40 a month provides for the educational, medical, and developmental
needs of one child in the Philippines or Honduras. Pocket change
in America is life giving in the Third World. Your contribution
will radically impact the life of a growing child. You will personally
correspond with your child, building bridges across cultures,
sharing faith and hope. Bringing hope... one life at a time.
• Sponsor a Missionary
It is our goal to provide an on-site missionary to each of our
partners around the world. With your help, these individuals
will spend six months to 5 years living and working in
the communities we serve. Your support provides transportation,
living expenses, and necessary supplies for a missionary, insuring
that they are able to share the love and message of Jesus Christ.
Sponsorship of a missionary is a wonderful way to impact the
life of an individual and the thousands that they reach.
• Sponsor a Project
With your help we are sponsoring building and outreach projects
in several countries. This is the perfect opportunity to band
together with your small group, co-workers, and friends and take
on one of our exciting development projects. We have many monthly
needs as well as one-time projects to fit any amount of giving.
• Sponsor a Gift of Hope
Always wondering what to get that special someone on your holiday
list? What better gift than the sponsorship of livestock for
a family in need? Your gift of Economic development will allow
a struggling family to receive an animal or farm equipment that
will enable them to earn a living and support themselves. Our
gift catalog provides six primary categories of support: childcare,
healthcare, education, evangelism, economic development, and
ministry outreach. These are truly the gifts that keep on giving.
CORPORATE GIVING
Our efforts are impossible without the generous donations of companies
in all sectors of industry. Influential companies realize the value
in investing in the next generation. Supporting the healthy growth
of children and reaching a hand to those in need is a hallmark of
good corporate stewardship.
We appreciate all levels of giving and will tailor a contribution
plan for ongoing monthly donations or one-time gifts. Many of our
corporate partners donate goods as well as funds. Nutritional supplies,
medical equipment, clothing, and airline tickets are just a few of
the ongoing needs that we hope our corporate sponsors will fill.
Creativity is the key to corporate giving. Programs such as corporate
/ employee matching, corporate benefit events (dinners, golf events)
or holiday gifting are all welcome. We are a 501(c) (3) all
donations are tax deductible.
TRANSITIONAL FUND
Partners of Hope International are committed to children around
the world. We recognize the need for quality, values based care for
children, and for their provision as they mature to adulthood and
begin life on their own.
When the children graduate from high school, they need to further
their education to obtain occupation. Therefore, we established the
Transition to Adulthood Fund specifically to meet the needs of the
eighteen year old that is leaving the orphanage or the comfort of
family living for the first time.
This critical support will provide educational funds, seed money
for start-up business costs, adult clothing, and continued care resources
for the important time in the child's life when they are ready to
go out into the world and make a difference for the next generation.
We believe it is crucial to transition our children to adulthood with
the confidence and provision they need so that they may become healthy,
independent, contributing members of society.
INTERNET SALES
As technology grows, online auctions sites such as eBay.com, sell.com,
ubid.com and net2malls.com have made headlines with their tremendous
success. In response, we have chosen ecommerce as a new avenue for
increasing support for our partners of hope around the world.
In an effort to sustain our current projects and respond to future
needs, we ask you to consider participating in this innovative way
to increase our collective impact around the world. The items you donate
will be auctioned on eBay and 100% of the proceeds will go to help
children around the world.

CRISIS FUND
There is no greater need for hope and instant action than in a crisis.
With your generous support, POHI is able to quickly and effectively
meet the needs of those who are facing catastrophic situations.
We allocate these funds for emergency expenses (natural disaster,
outbreak of illnesses) as well as areas of imminent need due to regional
crisis (terrorism, war).
If you want to make an impact, without preference to geographic region--
our crisis fund is a great way to give. Your generosity to this essential
fund insures that we are able to meet urgent needs and bring healing
and hope to those who are suffering.
Whether it is the Hurricanes of the Caribbean, heavy rains in the
Philippines or a drought in India, POHI is there to help. Our crisis
teams will be sent to the affected areas-- distributing relief supplies,
cooking warm meals, and providing emergency counsel to exhausted aid
workers and weary residents. We want to secure water and supplies for
distribution to the under-served residents in the inner cities or people
who become homeless.
ESTATE AND PLANNED GIVING
In recent years, planned giving has become an increasingly popular
means of charitable giving and sound financial stewardship. Planned
giving is a wise and effective means to direct material wealth, which
would have gone to taxes, toward the effective work of ministry. Many
of these gifts also provide income back to the giver, along with significant
income tax, capital gains tax, and estate tax benefits.

have a current will. Despite the best intentions, many people hesitate
