POHI works in cooperation with spiritual, business, and political
leaders of a nation to bring together the appropriate skills, talents,
and resources that are necessary to address the most pressing needs
of that nation.
We offer help to those that are unable to care
for themselves because they are an “at-risk” population (the
young and old) or, because they are “at-risk” because they
do not have the tools to do it for themselves. However, POHI believes
in the old cliché “Feed a man to fish and you feed him
for a day; teach him to fish and you feed him for a lifetime.” We
have sustainable programs such as: vocational training, schools,
and economical empowerment, designed to teach people how to help
themselves. But, we believe we need to meet the immediate need when
there is a hungry, thirsty or naked person, an orphaned child, or
someone in need of medical attention.
CHILDREN AND PEOPLE NEED HELP TODAY
Partners of Hope International fills immediate needs and is working
with nationalists on long-term goals to teach new techniques, job training,
and encourage small business ownership. But despite these efforts we
cannot afford to limit the immediate care of the children/people.
The question is not, “why do we do what we do” but rather,
what can we do? The little innocent children or the impoverished
people of the world should not be overlooked, left only to starve
and suffer while we attempt to work with these nations to rebuild
the society.
That is why we do what we do at Partners of Hope International. Won’t you
help us today and take a stand against hunger, poverty, illiteracy and illness?
POHI is dedicated to “Bringing Hope to the Nations” by “Changing
One Life at a Time”.
